From the basics of camera operation to the principles of photography; from applied hands-on workshops about exposure, perspective, and camera optimization, to the principles and application of lighting and artistic composition. From the transfer of your images to your computer, through the basic post processing skills using Photoshop to make your photographs look terrific. You will learn how all the different functions of the camera work and the principles of photography itself. A camera and manual are required for this course. This is a 30 hour course.
Drawing and Painting
Fundamentals and techniques of drawing, painting, and color theory are practiced in this basic course, for the absolute beginner or more experienced student. Working with pencil, ink, watercolor, and acrylic paints, students will be introduced to easily manageable ways of creating representational drawn and painted images. All materials will be provided. This is a 30 hour class.
This class meets Wednesdays 6-9pm from 9/12/18 - 11/16/18

A course designed for the beginning student. Jewelry making techniques such as filing, sawing, soldering silver and simple stone setting will be taught. Tools are furnished, but students are expected to pay for materials used. The $75.00 lab fee is included in the tuition. Option of an Open Studio for experienced students who have already taken Basic Jewelry. Students will design and execute their own projects.
